Wonderings, ramblings, and chatter of a sometimes pissed, sometimes cheery chick

As we all know, there has been a lot of controversy lately over whether American states should gives gays and lesbians the right to marry, adopt, etc. George Dubya Bush strongly accepts the idea of there being a new law in the Constitution, one that states that the only marriage acceptable is between man and woman. Not a good idea, Mr. President. Now the gays and lesbians of the community refuse to vote for you.

Anyways, Mr. President says that it violates the "sacred covenant with God" (Galatians). Maybe for you, but not for me. It would be a commitment between me and my partner. Isn't there a strict law not to combine church with government anyways? The atheists, anarchists, agnostics wouldn't like that...

"It's a threat to marriage" Who's? Not mine, or yours for that matter.

"Homosexuality is unnatural" I don't think so.. Many scientists have found homosexual behavior throughout the animal kingdom. Ever heard of lesbian seagulls?

Bottom line- To those religious people out there: why not hate the sin, not the sinner? I would have thought that a religious president such as Bush would have opened that moral up already. For didn't Jesus himself say it?

Here it is comment number 51, and nobody has given kudos for the "Lesbian Seagull" reference. Fly high lesbian seagull!

By the way, somebody hit one of my pet-peeves up there by correcting your "spelt." Granted that spelling is "archaic" by American English standards, it is still acceptable the world-over. Hell, I remember seeing "spelled "spelt like "spelt" in books when I was a kid. (I'm not that old either.)

When I said "51," I meant "61."

In fact, "Sir" Peter, when I look up your "famous" relations, I return with no one, or else you are seriously jumbling dates, locations, and political affiliations. And Maxwell Industries is an Indian company which manufactures women's undergarments.

Jetblackstar you have shown your inferior knowledge by claiming something i use everyday was invented by an American, are you referring to the Internet? The Internet was invented by an Englishman - you can't change facts old boy.

Do what? I never claimed something you use every day was invented by an American, but as it happens the internet was invented by Americans.

Oh, and I am claiming that you are a fraud.

Just so you feel better.

The Internet was invented by an Englishman that is a fact. Go and research Sir Tim Berners-Lee and realise your error.

Oh, and I don't care what you claim, you are of no importance to me or my millions of fans.

I'm so happy everybody is getting along.....

By the way, Jebidia, I thought that maybe if someone was as religious as you, it would be possible to FORGIVE THEM. But, oh no...

I spoke to a few Christian friends earlier and they were OUTRAGED when I spoke to them about gays. It's like speaking of gay people is toxic. They focused more on the fact that they were sinners, than the fact that they could be forgiven. And about the whole sinner thing, every human is a sinner, just because you are a Christian doesn't make you any different.

Alas Lone Maiden you are right, only some Christians wish they were "Holier than thou". Much as Petie wishes it. They give Christians like me a bad name because when I tell people I'm a Christian, especially here in Oregon, they automatically assume I'm one of Jebidia's ilk. Fortunately for them, and me, I'm not.

Oh, and Sir Peter is a fraud, and I doubt he's got a dozen fans, much less millions. And the "Internet" came out of a project by the Pentagon, in the US, by the way, to establish some kind of "network" whereby these newly discovered "computers" could talk to each other and exchange information. And, not to bolster Al Gore's claims to have invented the internet, he was a part of the group which brought the plan together.

Cheers

Gay marriage is in Canada now it is likly it will be allowed into law soon so there will be an option availible to all the gay couples in the states who still want to get married if Bush is sucessful.

How did this become a discussion on lineage? I personally can trace my lineage... oh, a good 3 generations back:)

Oh yes... and Jebidiah, that kind of talk gives Christianity a bad name. I urge you to speak more logically and less dogmatically.

Jetblack your jealousy really is pathetic, i can assure you that I have many more than a dozen fans, that is why my website is getting over 400 visitors an hour and my blog is ranked number 5 on the whole of joeuser. Tell me why are you so obsessed with me, are you a poofter?

As for your claim that Americans invented the internet i refer you to a BBC news article about the invention of the Internet. Link

On another note, I know whose orders you are following Jetblackstar. I know which clique you are part of - did your master not dare challenge me himself or are you just trying to impress him?

Actually I believe that the creation of the internet and the creation of the world wide web would be two different things. Also, Sir Peter, you fail to mention that Sir Tim was living and working in the US when he invented the world wide web, and in fact, he's still here!
